Never forget Kenya’s election violence

I have just come back from the first TedxNairobi event at the British Council Nairobi. Every talk was amazing, but one stood out, held us catpive and you could have heard a pin drop. Boniface Mwangi is  a photo journalist who captured the reality of the election crisis, his personal background made it all the more real for us.

“The efforts made by politicians have not been towards healing and reconciliation but personal gain, protection and survival”

Boniface Mwangi’s work through Picha Mtaani could be what’s needed for national healing.

We must never forget, we must never go back there.
